A Cartographic “Radiography” of Bucovina at the Beginning of the Modern Period (1778) – second part.

Abstract


The first part of the work (containing: some general  information and the description of the Austrian map entitled “The Plan of Bucovina District in 72 Sections drawn up in 1773, 774 and 775 (…) after geometrical survey”; the year when the map was made; the area of the mapped territory; the mathematical basis of the map; preliminary bibliography) was published in no. XVII/2008 of the Annals of the “Stefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Geography Section.  In this number we publish the second part of our study which includes the stage of  knowledge and use of the map.
